The Observatory promotes and spreads knowledge of opportunities offered by invitations to tender and calls for proposal of Structural Funds in Bulgaria and European Programmes directly managed by European Commission. In this perspective, the Observatory commits to inform about activities of institutions and about the way they operate regarding Structural Funds, giving widest diffusion of correct knowledge of Operational Programmes and results reached.
This commitment is made especially in order to give possibility of knowing more about opportunities offered by Structural Funds and European Programmes to all socio-economic subjects and public opinion.
Financing opportunities on P.O. “Innovation and competitiveness”
It was published the call for planning proposals on Axis Priority 2.2 “Capacity growth of SMEs”, of the Operative Programme “Innovation and competitiveness” – “Improvement of the production capacity in SMEs and its selection procedure. The aim of the procedure is to provide support for SME Bulgarian enterprises for the improvement of manufacturing processes, increased production capacity and strengthening of export potential.
The financial aid must satisfy the conditions for State aid. The arrangements applied for the State aid on the selection process of projects is the regional investment aid pursuant to art. 13 and Art. 14 of Regulation (EU) № 651/2014 of the Commission of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the common market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty. The process for the granting of financial assistance is carried out with financial support from the European Union through the European Regional Development. Projects to follow must be performed on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The total value of financial aid applied on procedure it is of leva 293,374,500. Eligible projects include following activities:
1. Activities of improvement of manufacturing processes, and / or
2. Activities of new functions or improvement of existing products and services, and / or
3. Diversification of the range of products and services to businesses, and / or
4. Activities introduction of new technologies to improve energy and resource efficiency in the production process. The opening of the first call will follow the following deadlines:
–08 July 2015 for the sectors of industries with low and medium-low technology
–08 September 2015 in the sectors of high and medium-high technology
–11 November 2015 for the sectors of the services high intensity of knowledge
