“Restaurant sector, as well as ice cream parlour are undoubtedly still facing an unprecedented period of difficulty. Even so more, we feel obliged to commend those who, despite all, have continued to work well, without ever giving up on quality, evolving according to current needs. We must never forget that these are fundamental sectors for our country, both from an economic, cultural and identity point of view“, declares the President of the CCIB, Marco Montecchi.

“Despite the operating criticalities due to the restrictions imposed by COVID 19, the activity of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, as well as of all the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad, has never stopped, providing us the further incentive to do more to contain the difficulties imposed by the pandemic emergency and to be able to provide new opportunities and ways to continue promoting Made in Italy through the Italian Hospitality Network in the World. Since September 2020, the presence of the mark in the world has been definitively extended to Artisan Ice Cream shops. Artisan ice cream is a successful product for Italy, Italian companies dominate the industrial sector of machines and products for ice cream shops worldwide, and the number of ice cream shops is constantly increasing (108.000 ice cream parlors in 2018). These are all extremely positive factors, which require commitment in order not to lose the competitive advantage also linked to the “immaterial” value of Italian artisan ice cream: the historical roots, the knowledge of the master ice cream makers, the flavors, the productions and the typical textures that, through perfect procedures of production and conservation, guarantee those main characteristics that have decreed its global success, reinforcing the appeal of Made in Italy at an international level”, declares the President of Isnart, Roberto Di Vincenzo.
