DIDACTA ITALIA 2019 – Appointment with the school of future from 9th to 11st October in Fortezza da Basso

Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria would like to inform you that from the 9th to the 11th of October 2019 FIERA DIDACTA ITALIA, the most important fair event in Italy about education, will be held in the historical Fortezza da Basso in Florence. Fiera Didacta, already active in Germany for over 50 years, has established a three-days event in Florence that transformed the capital of Tuscany into the European capital of the school of tomorrow.

Fiera Didacta  Italia 2019 aims to promote the debate on the world of education among institutions, associations and entrepreneurs, to create a meeting place between schools and companies.

The 2019 edition will be dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci. The Tuscan artist, scientist and inventor, genius of the Renaissance, who died in Amboise on 2 May 1519, will be celebrated through workshops and conferences.

A new format, which is developed on two levels: an exhibition area, which involves the long chain of companies working in the world of education and training and a  series of events: conferences and seminars ranging from the technological area to the scientific and humanistic one, up to the learning space.

This year too there will be a space dedicated to Area Europa: le Camere di Commercio italiane ed estere per la formazione (Europe Area: the Italian and foreign Chambers of Commerce for training): Cavaniglia Pavilion at Fortezza da Basso. It will be a space completely dedicated to the themes of the Transversal Skills Paths and for Orientation (PCTO) and to the vocational courses in Italy and abroad.

Thanks to the presence of eight Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad (Athens, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Lyon, London, Madrid, Prague, Sofia) and UNIONCAMERE experts, three days of one-to-one meetings will be held with teachers, school administrators and educators and trainers, design studios, Italian chambers of commerce, travel agencies, in charge or interested in the realization of school alternation projects in the above mentioned European countries. The Europe Area will also be a space for the exchange of experiences between operators who promote international mobility every day and a meeting point for all the protagonists of the world of Transversal Skills Routes and for Orientation both in Italy and abroad.

On 10 October 2019 from 10h00 am to 5h30 pm an info-training workshop entitled Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad to Support International Student Orientation and Mobility will be held at Palazzina Forenze (Room E10). During the course representatives of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad (CCIE) and of Italian Chambers of Commerce (CCIAA) will discuss and dialogue with the public in order to provide tools and ways of activating a solid collaboration relatively to projects supporting the orientation and international mobility of students.

For that occasion and in the light of experience gained in training and planning activities related to international mobility, ICCB Secretary General will speak about Knowledge of foreign markets and f logistics management.

Fiera Didacta Italia is organized by Firenze Fiera which has set up an Organizing Committee composed of: Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), Didacta International, Tuscany Region, Municipality of Florence, Unioncamere, Florence Chamber of Commerce, Florence Convention & Visitors Boureau, ITKAM (Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany) and INDIRE, which presides the Scientific Committee.

For information, the 2018 edition was attended by more than 200 Italian and foreign exhibitors, around 24 thousand participants in the 474 workshops, seminars and events, and 130 accredited journalists. The fair has established itself as a national point of reference for the launch of new proposals for the school of the future.
