(ANSA) – ROME, February 23rd – Italian food and wine is growing in Europe. It was declared by Unioncamere together with ISNART . National Institute of Tourism Researches with the first official Italian Hospitality in the World event in Europe for 2021, which was held in Sofia (Bulgaria) and which awarded, with the Italian Hospitality certificate abroad, 15 restaurants and 2 ice cream parlours for being able to enhance the typical elements of the Made in Italy of culinary culture.
The 15 winning restaurants – explains a note – distinguished themselves for having followed some essential requirements: the welcome, the gastronomic proposal, the wine list and the use of peculiar products, such as extra virgin olive oil, which refer – as it is specified – to the production tradition of our country. The 2 ice cream parlors, differed instead “for having ensured an accurate welcome, the use of specific Made in Italy equipment for products preparation, working transparently through an environmentally friendly approach”.
The Italian Hospitality in the World recognition now boasts over 2.200 Italian restaurants throughout the world, exactly 60 foreign countries interested, of which 27 from Europe and 33 non-European countries, and in addition, 73 Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad involved. The first official Italian Hospitality in the World event in Europe for 2021 was organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.
