For the eighth consecutive year, Study in Italy confirms itself to be as an important opportunity for the promotion and internationalization of Italian Universities

After all, Italy is the second commercial partner of Bulgaria, coming in second place both in import and export, after Germany.

Also for this edition, Study in Italy has proved to be an important showcase to strengthen the promotion of Made in Italy and the excellence of the “BelPaese” and a relevant event with a strong focus on national media.

During the event, Bulgarian National Television carried out live streaming interviews with the Italian Ambassador to Sofia, Stefano Baldi, the Deputy Ambassador, Francesco Calderoli and Secretary General, Rosa Cusmano. They illustrated the rich program of initiatives and promotional events of Made in Italy from January to December, the great exhibitions (the Day of Italian Design, the Week of Italian Cinema in the World, the Week of Italian Language, the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World and so forth), the connection between education and business, and the importance of Study in Italy as a great opportunity for the Internationalization of Italian Universities in Bulgaria.

Study in Italy was chosen by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria as the ideal place to spread the numerous initiatives to promote Italy in Bulgaria, like vocational training activities and c-oworking experience, events of social business networking and assistance to Italian and local companies, which can be workplaces for Bulgarian students once they have acquired the Italian skills, as well as special projects dedicated to the enhancement of the agri-food, wine and tourism culture of the Italian Regions.

Actually, within ICCB institutional desk, visitors had the opportunity to “get to know” the space dedicated to Italian culture #culturaébellezza, through the publications and promotional material of the regional artistic, naturalistic and cultural heritage: from Trasimeno to the city of Parma (Capital of Italian Culture 2020 and Creative City of UNESCO Gastronomy since 2015), from the architecture and design of Lombardy to the landscape of the Calabria Region.
