Study in Italy returns thisyear with an innovative approach, responding to the digital trends that the trade fair world has also adopted in response to the consequences of the pandemic emergency from Covid-19. As a continuation of the “Virtual Study in Italy Weekend” promotional activity carried out last October 2020, the only fair event dedicated to the promotion of the academic and highly specialized system of Italy in Bulgaria “Virtual Study in Italy 2021” will take place in digital formula (zoom platform) next February 27th and 28th, 2021.
Promoted and organized by Skylines, a Bulgarian agency specialized in assisting Bulgarian students for their studies in Italy, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, and thanks to the support of partners Alitalia, the trade magazine “Obrazuvanie”, Job Tiger.bg and the World Trade Center Sofia (Interpred), the trade fair event is the only opportunity for the Italian Universities to meet and Bulgarian students who, in their upper secondary education studies in Sofia and in the various Bulgarian cities, have chosen the Italian language as an enrichment of their linguistic background and as a future job opportunity, alongside those interested in getting to know, for the first time, Italy and its beauties, as well as the academic culture “made in Italy“.
The Virtual Study in Italy scheduled for Saturday, February 27th and Sunday, February 28th from 10h30 to 16h20 will be the first action of the exhibition project that will take place via the zoom platform. The event will start with an opening session entitled “Why choose Italy as a Country of study” by the General Manager of Skylines, Dimitar Aleksandrov and the Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, Rosa Cusmano; the in-depth sessions and workshops organized by the managers of the various participating universities will subsequently take place, according to a predefined calendar, which, for 40 minutes, will provide the participating students with detailed information on entry requirements, on the academic program and job opportunities, on the opportunities for scholarships and subsidies, on the conditions of study and student life in Italy in the various cities of each Italian University.

For the tenth consecutive year, Study in Italy has been chosen by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria as the ideal opportunity for the spread of the numerous initiatives to promote Italy in Bulgaria, which make up the chamber’s business plan, training professional activities and coworking experience, social business networking events and assistance to Italian and local companies, which can be workplaces for Bulgarian students, once they have acquired Italian skills, as well as special projects dedicated to the enhancement of agri-food and tourism culture of the Regions of Italy.
