Il 18 e 19 novembre 2025, la Camera di Commercio Italiana in Bulgaria ha partecipato a due significativi appuntamenti dedicati alle prospettive di sviluppo del settore tecnologico nelle regioni di Haskovo e Smolyan. Le tavole rotonde, rispettivamente ospitate presso la Camera di Commercio e Industria di Haskovo e la sede dell’azienda EME AD a Smolyan, hanno riunito rappresentanti del mondo imprenditoriale tecnologico e manifatturiero, istituzionale e formativo.
Entrambi gli eventi sono stati organizzati in collaborazione tra: l’Associazione Bulgara di Elettrotecnica ed Elettronica – BASEL, la Camera di Commercio e Industria di Haskovo, la Camera di Commerico e Industria di Smolyan, la Camera di Commercio Italiana in Bulgaria e la Camera di Commercio Bulgaro-Svizzera.
Temi principali trattati
Le discussioni hanno affrontato un’ampia serie di questioni strategiche tra cui:
- l’analisi delle prospettive economiche e industriali delle regioni coinvolte;
- le esigenze del mercato del lavoro nel settore tecnologico;
- il ruolo dell’istruzione professionale e del modello di formazione duale;
- le opportunità di collaborazione tra imprese, scuole e istituzioni;
- le sinergie tra innovazione, sviluppo industriale e competenze tecniche.
A Haskovo (18 novembre 2025), l’incontro ha visto la partecipazione del Vice Governatore Regionale Bogdan Kirilov ed è stato ospitato da Yancho Yanev, Presidente della Camera di Commercio e Industria di Haskovo. Il dibattito si è concentrato sulla cooperazione industriale e sullo sviluppo tecnologico, seguito da una visita a PIM LTD, un importante produttore di macchinari per i settori alimentare e farmaceutico.
A Smolyan (19 novembre 2025), la tavola rotonda ha riunito il Governatore Regionale Zahari Sirakov e Rabie Kyoseva, Presidente della Camera di Commercio e Industria di Smolyan, con un focus su innovazione, competenze e collaborazione tra istituzioni e imprese. La delegazione ha inoltre visitato EME JSC, un’importante azienda di produzione elettromeccanica.
La Camera di Commercio Italiana in Bulgaria era rappresentata dal Direttore Generale Anselmo Caporossi, che ha preso parte ai lavori e ai momenti di networking.
Networking e dialogo istituzionale
Al termine di entrambe le iniziative, i partecipanti hanno preso parte a un cocktail di networking che ha favorito il dialogo diretto tra imprese, enti di formazione e attori istituzionali locali, consolidando la collaborazione bilaterale e internazionale nei settori tecnologici.
Questi incontri hanno segnato un passo importante verso un più stretto coordinamento tra il mondo produttivo e quello educativo, con particolare attenzione alle competenze richieste dalle industrie ad alta specializzazione, ribadendo l’impegno condiviso verso l’innovazione, il rafforzamento delle relazioni istituzionali e l’espansione della cooperazione tra Italia, Svizzera e le regioni industriali della Bulgaria.

On 18 and 19 November 2025, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria took part in two important meetings dedicated to the development prospects of the technology sector in the regions of Haskovo and Smolyan. The roundtables, hosted respectively at the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry and at the headquarters of EME AD in Smolyan, brought together representatives from the technological and manufacturing business community, as well as from institutional and educational sectors.
Both events were organised in collaboration with: the Bulgarian Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (BASEL), the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Smolyan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, and the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce.
Key topics addressed
The discussions covered a wide range of strategic issues, including:
- analysis of the economic and industrial outlook of the regions involved;
- labour market needs in the technology sector;
- the role of vocational education and the dual training model;
- opportunities for cooperation among businesses, schools, and institutions;
- synergies between innovation, industrial development, and technical skills.
In Haskovo (18 November 2025), the meeting featured the participation of Deputy Regional Governor Bogdan Kirilov and was hosted by Yancho Yanev, President of the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The discussion focused on industrial cooperation and technological development, followed by a visit to PIM LTD, a major producer of machinery for the food and pharmaceutical sectors.
In Smolyan (19 November 2025), the roundtable brought together Regional Governor Zahari Sirakov and Rabie Kyoseva, President of the Smolyan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with a focus on innovation, skills, and collaboration between institutions and businesses. The delegation also visited EME JSC, an important electromechanical manufacturing company.
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria was represented by Director General Anselmo Caporossi, who took part in the discussions and networking sessions.
Networking and institutional dialogue
At the end of both initiatives, participants attended a networking cocktail that encouraged direct dialogue between companies, educational institutions, and local institutional actors, strengthening bilateral and international cooperation in the technological sectors.
These meetings marked an important step towards closer coordination between the production and education systems, with particular attention to the skills required by highly specialised industries, reaffirming the shared commitment to innovation, stronger institutional relations, and enhanced cooperation between Italy, Switzerland, and Bulgaria’s industrial regions.
