Il 23 novembre 2025 il Bulgarian National WINBET Tennis Center di Sofia ha ospitato un seminario d’eccezione che ha riunito esperti, giovani atleti e rappresentanti istituzionali del mondo dello sport. L’iniziativa, organizzata dalla Federazione Tennistica Bulgara, dalla Camera di Commercio Italiana in Bulgaria e dalla Trio Consult LTD, ha visto protagonista Claudio Pistolesi, tra i coach più stimati del tennis internazionale.
L’incontro ha offerto una panoramica approfondita su due temi centrali per le nuove generazioni di tennisti:
- le strategie per affrontare la transizione dal tennis giovanile al professionismo, una fase delicata che richiede competenze tecniche, preparazione mentale e una guida qualificata;
- le opportunità del tennis universitario negli Stati Uniti, modello che sempre più atleti considerano fondamentale per conciliare crescita sportiva e accademica.
Pistolesi ha arricchito il seminario con esempi pratici e riflessioni basate sulla sua straordinaria esperienza come coach di campionesse del calibro di Monica Seles, Robin Söderling e Simona Halep, oltre che come ex campione europeo Under 18 e vincitore dello US Junior Open.
L’evento ha visto la partecipazione del Presidente della Camera di Commercio Italiana Alessandro Geretto e del Presidente della Federazione Tennistica Bulgara Stefan Tzvetkov.
L’iniziativa ha rappresentato un’importante occasione di confronto tra esperti, allenatori, famiglie e atleti, offrendo la possibilità di porre domande, approfondire metodologie di coaching e partecipare ad attività pratiche sul campo insieme a figure di rilievo del panorama tennistico mondiale.

On 23 November 2025, the Bulgarian National WINBET Tennis Center in Sofia hosted an exceptional workshop that brought together experts, young athletes, and institutional representatives from the sports sector. The initiative, organized by the Bulgarian Tennis Federation, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, and Trio Consult LTD, featured Claudio Pistolesi, one of the most respected coaches in international tennis.
The event offered an in-depth overview of two key topics for the new generations of tennis players:
• strategies to manage the transition from junior tennis to the professional level, a delicate phase requiring technical skills, mental preparation, and qualified guidance;
• opportunities offered by U.S. college tennis, a model increasingly seen by young athletes as essential for balancing sports development and academic growth.
Pistolesi enriched the seminar with practical examples and insights drawn from his outstanding experience as coach of champions such as Monica Seles, Robin Söderling, and Simona Halep, as well as from his own career as European Under-18 champion and US Junior Open winner.
The event was attended by Alessandro Geretto, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, and Stefan Tzvetkov, President of the Bulgarian Tennis Federation.
The initiative offered an important opportunity for dialogue among experts, coaches, families, and athletes, allowing participants to ask questions, explore training methodologies, and take part in on-court activities alongside prominent figures from the international tennis community.
