Cari Associati, in relazione all progetto europeo Virtual Reality For Tourism (VR4T), vi invitiamo a partecipare al test pilota della nostra nuova piattaforma educativa, pensata appositamente per il settore turistico.

Siamo alla ricerca di professionisti del turismo, agenzie di viaggio, tour operator, docenti, istituti turistici e studenti che desiderano essere tra i primi a scoprire e testare questo nuovo strumento formativo.

VR4T è un progetto europeo Erasmus+ nato per offrire un corso online gratuito che introduce le tecnologie di Realtà Virtuale (VR) e Realtà Aumentata (AR) applicate al turismo in modo pratico e accessibile. L’obiettivo del progetto è contribuire a professionalizzare il settore e avvicinare l’innovazione digitale ai professionisti del turismo di oggi e di domani.

La partecipazione è completamente gratuita ed è aperta sia ai professionisti già attivi nel settore, sia a docenti e studenti in ambito turistico.

Durante il test pilota, potrete:

• Accedere gratuitamente alla piattaforma e ai suoi contenuti.
• Scoprire come la VR e l’AR possono trasformare l’esperienza turistica.
• Apprendere nuove competenze digitali applicate al turismo.
• Condividere il vostro feedback e contribuire a migliorare lo strumento prima del suo lancio ufficiale.

Dear Associates, in relation to the European project Virtual Reality For Tourism (VR4T), we invite you to participate in the pilot test of our new educational platform, designed specifically for the tourism sector.

We are looking for tourism professionals, travel agencies, tour operators, teachers, tourism institutes, and students who wish to be among the first to discover and test this new educational tool.

VR4T is a European Erasmus+ project created to offer a free online course that introduces Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies applied to tourism in a practical and accessible way. The objective of the project is to contribute to professionalizing the sector and bringing digital innovation closer to the tourism professionals of today and tomorrow.

Participation is completely free and is open both to professionals already active in the sector, and to teachers and students in the tourism field.

Durante the pilot test, you will be able to:

• Access the platform and its contents for free.
• Discover how VR and AR can transform the tourism experience.
• Learn new digital skills applied to tourism.
• Share your feedback and contribute to improving the tool before its official launch.

Si è conclusa ieri a Sofia la programmazione della Grande Partenza del Giro d’Italia 2026, con la terza e ultima tappa che ha visto la capitale bulgara protagonista della giornata di domenica 10 maggio. L’evento ha rappresentato il culmine di un fine settimana di alto profilo istituzionale e sportivo, consolidando il posizionamento del territorio bulgaro all’interno dei grandi circuiti internazionali.

L’appuntamento di domenica ha coronato un percorso iniziato l’8 maggio a Nessebar, confermando l’efficacia del coordinamento logistico e l’importanza della cooperazione bilaterale. Parallelamente all’aspetto agonistico, il programma ha previsto momenti di alto valore simbolico, come la giornata di sabato 9 maggio. In occasione della Giornata dell’Europa, la “Biciclettata degli Ambasciatori e del Personale Diplomatico” ha attraversato il centro cittadino da Piazza Alexander Nevsky all’NDK, promossa dall’Ambasciata d’Italia a Sofia e dal Comune di Sofia, in collaborazione con la Rappresentanza della Commissione Europea e l’Ufficio del Parlamento Europeo in Bulgaria.

La cerimonia presso il Palazzo Nazionale della Cultura (NDK), arricchita dall’esibizione della Sofia Wind Orchestra, ha visto la partecipazione del Sindaco di Sofia, Vassil Terziev, e dell’Ambasciatore d’Italia in Bulgaria, Marcello Apicella, i quali hanno sottolineato l’importanza della mobilità sostenibile e dei valori di coesione in una cornice di forte aggregazione e amicizia internazionale.

La Camera di Commercio Italiana in Bulgaria esprime un sentito ringraziamento a tutte le attività economiche, ai partner e alle realtà imprenditoriali che, attraverso il loro supporto e la loro partecipazione, hanno contribuito in modo determinante alla riuscita della manifestazione. The Bulgarian program for the Grande Partenza of the Giro d’Italia 2026 concluded yesterday in Sofia, with the third and final stage featuring the Bulgarian capital as the protagonist on Sunday, May 10th. The event represented the culmination of a high-profile institutional and sporting weekend, consolidating Bulgaria’s position within major international circuits.

Sunday’s event crowned a journey that began on May 8th in Nessebar, confirming the effectiveness of logistic coordination and the importance of bilateral cooperation. Alongside the competitive aspect, the program included moments of high symbolic value, such as Saturday, May 9th. To mark Europe Day, the “Ambassadors and Diplomatic Staff Bike Ride” crossed the city center from Alexander Nevsky Square to the NDK, promoted by the Italian Embassy in Sofia and the Sofia Municipality, in collaboration with the Representation of the European Commission and the European Parliament Liaison Office in Bulgaria.

Вчера в София приключи програмата на Grande Partenza на Giro d’Italia 2026 г., като третият и последен етап превърна българската столица в главен герой в неделния ден, 10 май. Събитието бе кулминацията на един уикенд с висок институционален и спортен профил, затвърждавайки позициите на България в големите международни събития.

Неделното събитие увенча маршрут, започнал на 8 май в Несебър, потвърждавайки ефективността на логистичната координация и значението на двустранното сътрудничество. Успоредно със състезателния аспект, програмата включваше моменти с висока символична стойност, като съботния ден, 9 май. По повод Деня на Европа, „Велопоходът на посланиците и дипломатическия персонал“ премина през центъра на града от площад „Свети Александър Невски“ до НДК, организиран по инициатива на Посолството на Италия в София и Столична община, в сътрудничество с Представителството на Европейската комисия и Бюрото на Европейския парламент в България.

В церемонията пред Националния дворец на културата (НДК), обогатена с изпълнението на Софийския духов оркестър, се включиха кметът на София Васил Терзиев и Н.Пр. посланикът на Италия в България Марчело Апичела, които подчертаха значението на устойчивата мобилност и ценностите на сближаване в рамките на силно обединение и международно приятелство.

La Grande Partenza del Giro d’Italia 2026 avrà luogo in Bulgaria dall’8 al 10 maggio, passando per diverse città, partendo da Nessebar e terminando a Sofia.

Il 9 maggio, Giornata dell’Europa, si terrà la “Biciclettata degli Ambasciatori e del Personale Diplomatico” – un’iniziativa aperta sia ai bambini che agli adulti. Il percorso si snoderà da Piazza della Cattedrale Alexander Nevsky al Palazzo Nazionale della Cultura (NDK), promuovendo la mobilità sostenibile e i valori europei.

The Grand Start of Giro d’Italia 2026 will take place in Bulgaria from May 8-10, passing through several cities, starting in Nessebar and finishing in Sofia.

On May 9, Europe Day, the “Ambassadors and Diplomatic Staff Bike Ride” will take place – an initiative open to children and adults alike. The route will go from Alexander Nevsky Cathedral Square to the National Palace of Culture (NDK), promoting sustainable mobility and European values.

Големият старт на Giro d’Italia 2026 ще се проведе в България от 8 до 10 май, преминавайки през няколко града, започвайки в Несебър и завършвайки в София.

На 9 май, Деня на Европа, ще се проведе „Колоездачната обиколка на посланиците и дипломатическия персонал“ – инициатива, отворена както за деца, така и за възрастни. Маршрутът ще премине от площада на катедралата „Свети Александър Невски“ до Националния дворец на културата (НДК), насърчавайки устойчивата мобилност и европейските ценности.

• Старт: площад на катедралата „Свети Александър Невски“
• Финал: около 12:00 ч. пред Националния дворец на културата (НДК), където ще бъде изпълнена „Ода на радостта“, последвана от официални речи на институционални представители.

Grande successo presso la Residenza italiana a Sofia per l’esclusivo evento dedicato alla “Bike Economy“, organizzato dall’Ambasciata d’Italia in collaborazione con RCS Sports & Events di fronte a un pubblico di rappresentanti istituzionali e imprenditori. La serata ha trasformato lastorica location in uno showroom d’eccezione per l’eccellenza ciclistica del made in Italy, esponendo non solo i prodotti di marchi iconici come Colnago, De Rosa, Pinarello, Nimbl e Oakley, ma anche le celebri divise ufficiali del Giro d’Italia. 

L’incontro che ha riunito l’Ambasciatore Marcello Apicella, i Ministri bulgari dello Sport e del Turismo e i vertici aziendali, ha rappresentato un momento di grande rilevanza strategica. Era presente anche Alessandro Geretto, Presidente della Camera di Commercio Italiana in Bulgaria, a testimonianza della solida collaborazione imprenditoriale tra i due Paesi.

L’incontro ha celebrato il Giro d’Italia non solo come eccellenza sportiva, ma come formidabile motore economico, sociale e culturale.

A testimonianza di questo impatto, è stato annunciato l’arrivo in Bulgaria di ben 3.000 addetti ai lavori per i complessi preparativi legati all’attesa “Grande Partenza“, occasione in cui sono stati espressi sentiti ringraziamenti al Governo bulgaro per la preziosa collaborazione.

A coronamento di questa intensa giornata all’insegna delle due ruote, la Direttrice dell’Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Maria Mazza, ha inoltre inaugurato presso la Galleria Nazionale “Kvadrat 500” la mostra “Giro d’Italia: breve storia dell’Italia su due ruote“, patrocinata dall’Ambasciata.

A great success at the Italian Residence in Sofia for the exclusive event dedicated to the “Bike Economy,” organized by the Italian Embassy in collaboration with RCS Sports & Events before an audience of institutional representatives and entrepreneurs. The evening transformed the historic location into an exceptional showroom for Made in Italy cycling excellence, exhibiting not only the products of iconic brands such as Colnago, De Rosa, Pinarello, Nimbl, and Oakley, but also the famous official kits of the Giro d’Italia.

The meeting, which brought together Ambassador Marcello Apicella, the Bulgarian Ministers of Youth and Sports and of Tourism, and top corporate executives, represented a moment of great strategic relevance. Alessandro Geretto, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, was also present, as a testament to the solid business collaboration between the two countries.

The gathering celebrated the Giro d’Italia not only as sporting excellence but as a formidable economic, social, and cultural engine.
